WFTPD allows you to turn any Windows machine into your own FTP site. Let others upload and download files to or from your system, under your administration and control, and using FTP client tools that have been developed for computer systems from mainframes to handhelds. As the oldest standalone FTP server for Windows (first released in 1993), WFTPD has a proven record of stability, compatibility and security.

Texas Imperial Software is proud to announce the arrival of this latest version of its FTP server, WFTPD, for all versions of Windows from Windows XP to Windows 8 and beyond. Developed originally in 1993, WFTPD has maintained a long history of compatibility, stability, security and speed. We've introduced many new features into the Windows FTP world through WFTPD, and our developers' involvement in the IETF FTPEXT working group allows us to maintain compatibility while at the same time remaining up to date with new developments.
Since we do not currently charge users for bug fixes or technical support, we have a compelling reason to ensure that the code is fully tested, and comes with comprehensive - and comprehensible - documentation.
